After Use

– Turn your pad upside down and leave it to air dry.
– Once dry, gently brush with a soft, clean brush to remove any residual salt or hair.

Washing Frequency

– Wash only when necessary, to maintain the pad’s quality and longevity.  We recommend washing when there is a build up of grease underside as this prevents the pad wicking away sweat

Jet Washing Instructions

– Your Equitex pad can be jet washed.
– After jet washing, you can either leave it to drip dry or put it in the washing machine for a quick 600-spin cycle before air drying.

Machine Washing Instructions:
– To machine wash, use a 30-degree Gentle cycle (as indicated on the washing label).
– Do not tumble dry.
– Remove the pad from the machine immediately after the cycle finishes to prevent creasing.

Drying

– Air dry your pad at room temperature; it should be dry overnight.
– Ensure the pad is not overheated, as this can cause the bonding to come loose from the velvet and may lead to separation.
– Please note that we are unable to assist with any pad that has been incorrectly cared for, as per these instructions.

Care for Large Pads

– Large pads may develop creases if folded during the wash. To minimize creasing:
– Use a lower spin cycle to leave more water in the pad and allow it to dry naturally.
– Remove the pad from the machine immediately after the cycle finishes.
– Be assured that any creases will not affect the integrity or performance of the pad.
