Equitex Saddle Pads are designed to be used in direct contact with the horse. We don't recommend you put anything underneath the pad as this will prevent your horse from benefiting fully from all the features of the pad.

The General Purpose saddle pad has been designed to fit both forward cut Close Contact and General Purpose saddles.

The new felt collection is not only fantastic in quality and stunning in terms of colours, it also has a special feature: the felt top layer of the saddle pad adds approx.. 3 mm in thickness and thus is especially suitable for those who need to lift the saddle altogether a little.  The wonderful TechVelvet found on all Equitex saddle pads is on the underside, which wicks away sweat and protects the horse’s coat.

For competition pads, they can even be hosed down or jet washed to achieve a pristine finish.
